Lean beef for lean bodies.

Preferred Angus® beef is naturally rich in ten essential nutrients and is a good source of protein, zinc, vitamin B12, vitamin B6, iron and niacin, which are critical to growing, strengthening and sustaining a strong lean body.

While all beef is rich in nutrients, the amount of calories, cholesterol and fat varies greatly among different cuts. There are 29 cuts of beef that meet government guidelines and can be labeled "lean." As these guidelines require, each of these cuts contains less than 10 grams of total fat, 4.5 grams or less of saturated fat and less than 95 milligrams of cholesterol per 3.5-ounce serving.
