Beaujolais Nouveau. A fun fruity red, Beaujolais Nouveau, has a low alcohol level and relatively high acidity levels. It is meant to be drunk soon after bottling so enjoy it from its release day, always the third Thursday in November, through May.

Beaujolais Nouveau doesn't have the fortitude to hold up to strong herbs and spices.
